Core subjects are divided into 5 modules worth 12 credits each. Each module relates to either finance (FIN modules) or law (LAW modules). At least 2 out of the 5 modules selected must be FIN modules.
Each 12-credit module is assessed as a whole. This means that students must obtain an average grade of 4 out of 6 to pass, with no individual grades falling below a 3.
Students must pass at least 4 of the 5 core modules to progress to Year 2.
